Mr. Miacca
Mr Miacca: The villain of the story. He and his wife go around looking for misbehaving little boys and eat them for dinner. He finds Tommy Grimes on two separate occasions. The first time, he forgets his herbs, so he has his wife watch over Tommy. Tommy tricks her into letting him go because he offers her pudding. The next time, Mr. Miacca catches him and makes him lay under the sofa while he sits on it. Tommy tricks him again by having Mr. Miacca chop the leg of the sofa instead of his, and he gets away again.
Tommy Grimes: A good kid, but a he misbehaves sometimes. He is told by his mother to not venture out in the street because Mr. Miacca will scoop him up and eat him. He disobeys two different times, and two different times he is caught by Mr. Miacca. He tricks Mr. Miacca and his wife twice and is able to escape. After that, he never disobeyed again.
