Coyote and the Mexicans
Judge: Is fooled by Coyote at the beginning because he thought he was a girl and wanted to spend the night with him. He ends up losing his money to Coyote because of this
Coyote: Changes himself into a girl at the beginning of the story to trick the judge. A very good trickster, and wants to use his tricks to help out his friend the dog. He first attempts to get the dogs owners to start treating him well by stealing one of the family’s chickens and letting the dog chase him down and retrieve the chicken for the family. After that, he goes to the dog’s house while the dog’s family is at a party and drinks whisky with him. He gets drunk and defecates on the family’s clothes
Dog: is very mistreated by his owners, so he formulates a plan with coyote to get them to treat him better. The plans don’t work, so dog and coyote get drunk together. The family ends up kicking out both the dog and the coyote.
