Reading Notes: Noah and the Ark-Part B

Noah: I liked the part in the story in which it explains that Noah had lost his title of being devoutly religious after he decided to drink wine and grow grapes with Satan. I liked this part of the story because when you hear about Noah, usually it’s just the story of the Ark, not the story after the Ark in which he got drunk. It just allows the reader to understand that no matter what, everyone has their faults and can sin.

The Flood: it was interesting to read the part about the flood in which those who had denied God desperately tried to get on the Ark after the rain had began falling. Even after the rain began, the people still denied God and insisted that the rain would never get to the level of their neck, or they would be able to stop the water with their feet.

Nimrod: very mighty and powerful, the biggest sinner since the flood, was a ruler and people worshipped him like a God.

Hollywood: If I chose someone to play Nimrod in Hollywood, it would be Jack Nicholson. I feel like he would be the perfect fit for this role, especially considering his roles as the joker and his performance in The Shining.

Setting: During the flood, and the beginning of the new world after the flood.

Plot: Humanity is starting back up, and people are very curious about rulers such as Nimrod. This is very interesting because people are very easy to manipulate and persuade into other Gods and idols.
