The Warlock
The Warlock; He had passed away, but made his sons make sure that their wives would look after him while he was in his coffin. He tricked two of his daughter-in-laws into not taking crosses into the room with them after they promised to take care of him. He eventually ended up strangling and killing those two. The last daughter-in-law to go into the room snuck her cross in with her, and when he tried to strangle her, she killed him with the cross. He had hid a large amount of money in his coffin for someone more clever than him to take after he died.
The third daughter-in-law: defied her father-in-law’s orders to not take a cross into the room when she was supposed to watch over his coffin. When he lunged at her in an attempt to strangle her, she killed him with the cross.
