 Why The Dog’s Ears Flop

The Dog: He used to have great pride. His ears stood up straight and his tail never fell between his legs. One day he walked up to a Native American man who was drying deer and bear meat, and asked if he could have some meat in exchange for his help protecting the village from wild animals and enemies of the village. The Native American man agreed and the dog moved to the village to help protect it. He did very good for a while, but then one night his cousins the wolves came up to the camp. They tricked him into thinking that they were just there to talk, but they were secretly stealing the drying meat. The next morning, the Native Americans beat the dog until he lost all of his pride, and his ears and tails fell down for the first time ever. He is still scared of man to this day
